Search for the Jetbootsu

Luke landed somewhere in Russia. He was dressed for the weather, but not dressed heavily like most people might be. "So I'm looking for the Jetbootsu huh, I wonder where they could be hidden at.", he said, looking around the forest he was in. He continued to walk through it, eventually finding a mountain with a glowing object on it. "That must be where the Jetbootsu are!", he said.

Haruko had been in Russia for a good while now. She didn't have a heavy coat, as she didn't need it. She was used to temperatures like that due to her past of working at Buddhist temples on mountains. Haruko trudged through the forest, having spotted the mountain where the Jetbootsu were. It wasn't long though, before she had spotted Luke a ways off in the foliage. Assuming him to be a Xiaolin Monk or just someone after the Shen Gong Wu in general, she began to pick up the pace ever so slightly.

Luke noticed his competition. "Hey, those boots are mine you!", he said as he began using his power over wind to get to the Jetbootsu first. "I'll get that Wu far before you!", he said once again. He would soon close in on the Wu.

"I hope you don't actually believe that!" Haruko yelled. She ran along, going for the mountain, while she held her palm out toward Luke and shot fireballs at him. She wasn't completely powerless it'd seem.

Luke was hit and immediately spiraled into the Shen Gong Wu. His had rested on it as he gained his bearings. "Ah man, what just hit me?", he asked, unaware he had his hand on the Shen Gong Wu.

Haruko ran up and put her hand on the Shen Gong Wu. "I challenge you to a Xiaolin Showdown!" She yelled, hoping that Luke had no idea what she was talking about. If so, she had the upper hand.

"A showdown? Okay...", he said. "However reaches the bottom of the mountain first on their snowboard wins the Jetbootsu!", he said, having limited knowledge on Shen Gong Wu.

"Alright then, you're on, child." Haruko said. While she wasn't exactly a snowboarder, she was going to cheat. So she was still in it.

They were sent to the top of the mountain as the region shifted to fit a Xiaolin Showdown. They were each given a snowboard to reflect their personality and alignment. Luke turned to Haruko. "Gong Ye Tempai!", he shouted at her as he threw his snowboard down and jumped on it, blasting a gust of wind at Haruko.

"Gong Ye Tempai!" Haruko yelled. Throwing down her snowboard and riding on it, she used the draft of wind Luke threw at her to her advantage and used it to float over a rock. She shot a fireball at Luke's chest, attempting to throw him off of the mountain, quite simply.

Unknown to either, 4 other Shen Gong Wu activated. In addition, their shouting of Gong Ye Tempai began an avalanche. Luke used his elemental powers to get ahead of the fireball so it wouldn't hit him. "You'll have to cheat harder witch.", he said.

The activation of the 4 Shen Gong Wu at the same time caused Haruko's headache to go over the top. She stumbled and slowed down, getting swept away by the avalanche.

Luke was also swept away, the Golden Tiger Claw and Sword of the Storm ending up in his possession as Haruko reached the bottom first. He was buried in the snow, hiding his new Wu as his head popped out. "Ah, two other Wu!", he shouted, but realized he couldn't move.

Haruko saw the two other Shen Gong Wu, the Reversing Mirror and Sweet Baby Among Us. She grabbed them and had the Jetbootsu on her on her feet as the area returned to normal. "While I'd like those others as well, this is a good haul." She said as she flew toward the Heylin Base.

"Dammit, well, at least it wasn't a total loss...", he said, climbing out of the snow. He slid the Golden Tiger Claw onto his hand. "Golden Tiger Claw!", he shouted as he opened a portal and jumped into it.
