Hunting for the Coin Empty Hunting for the Coin

Jayzon had maintained a rather high altitude on his airborne pathways of ice so as not to freak out the locals. Jumping lightly off of the path when he was close enough to a building, Jay rolled and landed on a roof. Using the height advantage, he looked back and forth around China and scanned for the Coin. Spotting it not too far from where he was, Jay began to travel across rooftops.

"Ah, so one of the young monks finally shows up. ", Younge said from atop another building. "I do not believe we have been properly introduced. I am Pierce Younge.", he stated, beginning to move closer to the Wu as Jayzon did. "You monks are all as foolish as the Master Monk himself.", Younge said to Jayzon.

"Foolish is believing in evil while good prevails always." Jayzon said boldly. "Jayzon Raimo." He jumped a few buildings, getting closer to the Mantis Flip Coin. He wasn't going to be beaten.

"The words of a fool go no where.", he stated. He jumped towards the Mantis Flip Coin as the bird, Ying-Ying, began flying around Jayzon, squawking an chirping at the monk. "A fool is someone who doesn't think ahead, someone who hesitates to make the second move.", he said, sending a blast of fire at the young monk.

"Hah. Thinking ahead is what I'm known for." Jayzon dodged the blast of fire while still moving nearer to the Coin. Grabbing Ying-Ying by the beak, he threw the bird at Pierce while zeroing in on the Coin.

Younge placed a hand on the coin as he caught Ying-Ying, watching the bird fly away.

"My. What have we here, we've both touched the Mantis Flip Coin. It appears we have a Xiaolin Showdown.", Younge said. "Name the competition monk.", he growled.

Jayzon's eyes narrowed and he scowled. Then he smirked a bit. "Alright then! I challenge you to a meditation! We both must sit, legs completely crossed, and we cannot move. At. All. No distractions, no funny business, no cheating. Just a wholesome challenge."

"You know that I was once a Xiaolin Monk correct? This challenge is something I do when the Priestess removes herself from my presence.", he said. "I accept your challenge Jayzon. Gong Ye Tempai!", he shouted, as the region became a peaceful Chinese garden. There were two stones, one for each to meditate on. Younge immediately sat on one of them and began.

"Gong Ye Tempai!" Jayzon said. He immediately sat down on his stone and began to meditate. He relaxed himself and kept from moving. The only thing that seemed life-like about Jay at the moment was his breathing, which was even and paced.

Though Younge knew that he could meditate longer than this monk, he smiled and stood up. "This showdown is over young monk, arise.", he said as the area returned to normal.

"Remember young monk, The Book of Beifong must be located. If it lands in Haruko's hands, the world will witness many years of darkness.", he said.

Jayzon stood up, the Mantis Coin appearing in his hands. "I will remember that, Mr. Younge. But don't think I completely trust you just yet." He said calmly.

"Perhaps I underestimate you monks. But trust is something I don't want. I always expect the witch to stab me in the back.", he said as he left.

Flipping the Coin, Jayzon launched into the air and began to ride along ice trails once more, heading back to the temple with the scroll and his first Shen Gong Wu.
