The lotus and the fool.

Floating above the city of Hong Kong, Quinn watched the city go by beneath him. "Such a same, so many of these people know not what is going on here." The fool said. "Well, it is time for my hunt to begin." Lowering toward the city, Quinn saw a pond with many lotus flowers floating on it. "Here seems to be a good spot." The jester began to search the pond for the artifact.

Jayzon was near the lotus pool and spotted it. Deciding it'd be a good place to search, he began to wade through the water and snatched lotuses out of the water. "No, no, no."

Quinn noticed the xiaolin member. "So, they did manage to send someone to oppose me. Hmm." Pulling out a card Quinn smirked. "Strength. This one will not break easily." He said, continuing the search. "Ah ha!" He said, pulling the Lotus Twister from the pond. "I apologize Monk, but today is not going to be your day." The fool activated his boots and began to float up.

"Not so fast!" Jay flipped his coin. "Mantis Flip Coin!" He jumped up at Quinn and grabbed hold of the Lotus Twister. "I challenge you to a Xiaolin Showdown! I wager my Mantis Flip Coin against your Jetbootsu. My challenge is whoever can take a lotus and carry it across the courtyard without it getting even BENT wins."

"Very well, I accept your challenge Monk." Quinn said as a bright light spread and began to change the area. Most of the land fell away and filled with water, large circular platforms filled the area. "Are you ready Monk?" Quinn said, picking up one of the flowers with a strange delicateness. "Good luck." The fool activated the boots and began to float across the arena.

Jayzon serenely picked up a lotus, then froze it gently. He flipped the Mantis Flip Coin and jumped into the air, making an ice trail to ride on. He slid along in the air, wind blasting his ears.

"So, Strength is a cheater is he?" Quinn observed the frozen Lotus. "Well then, this will be legal as well." Removing his hat, the fool placed the flower on his head and covered it again, the large jester hat didn't touch the flower , yet it still sat snug around Quinn's head. Increasing his flight speed, he kept his head level so as not to disturb the flower. "You will not win this ice boy."

Jay was focused on getting to the end, so he ignored the jester. "Hm? Oh, did you say something?" He made a snowball in his hand and threw it at the large jester hat, as he had noticed the flower going into the large knick knack.

"Whoa... Tsk tsk." Quinn said holding his hat and ducking under the snow ball. "Throwing things was not in the rules. However..." Pulling out a blank card he hurled it at Jay's flower.

"Did I ever specify rules?" Jay dodged the card and threw another snowball, specifically aiming at Quinn's face this time. He wasn't going to be beaten by a stupid jester.

"Touche ice monk." Quinn said, hurling another card through the snowball. "Enough tricks!" Quinn said, propelling himself even faster towards the end.

"Indeed!" Jay jumped off of his ice trail, using the Mantis Flip Coin, and aimed a kick at the bottom of the Jester's hat, attempting to knock it off in midair. It was now or never.

Ducking one last time, Quinn felt the flower shift. "Darn..." He said, the showdown was over. Quinn's flower was bent. "Congratulations Monk of strength. You have won. We will meet again though." Leaving the boots, Quinn vanished into the night.

Jayzon grinned and put the Jetbootsu on, taking the Lotus Twister and the Mantis Flip Coin back to base. He had cleaned up.
